Welcome to Erin‑Y

Hi there!

I am Erin Yanowitch, Pilates instructor, personal trainer, health coach, and founder of Erin-Y.

I want to welcome you to this project because I feel you and I have a lot in common if you are here.

I guess I can safely assume we saw 2020 go with a collective sigh of relief. Although we are still on a slippery road, normality or something we can regard as normal life is on the horizon. As we have left 2020 behind, we shall keep the lessons we learned and purge the negativity that crept in. We’ve been through a lot!

We learned that the healthier we are, throughout body and mind, the better equipped we are to tackle the truths and fears related to our health and our lives. It is imperative for our well-being and state of mind. Also, the stronger our immune system is, the easier would be to avoid being part of the population at high risk. This way, we will be able to be there for them in case they need us. That’s the main lesson we can thank 2020 for. So from now on, focus on how ephemeral life is. We deserve to live it fully; being healthy and happy, that is.

Particularly after the lock-out, many of us feel guilty because we didn’t learn three new languages, nor crochet. We didn’t paint the house, nor read two new books per week. But the most common reason people are experiencing guilt trips is for not getting in shape in 2020 while we were confined. Some of us gained weight during the worst parts of the quarantine, and that is OK. It was a rough time.

Guilt, on the other hand, won’t bring us anywhere, is useless and grim. I want you to take all of your guilt, throw it in the garbage disposal and crush it. There’s a new sheriff in town called motivation.

I want to invite you to leave 2020 behind, keeping the lessons we learned from it but starting a new project full of hope and motivation, and this is where our paths cross. For me, the launching of Erin-Y and all it offers is the culmination of what I feel like a true calling.

My dream is to reach out to more and more people, bringing you all together to remove each obstacle and bad habit that is preventing you from having the health and the body you want and deserve. My goal is to help you achieve yours.

Let’s all focus on our new beginnings. Let’s start this journey that will take us onto a shared path for a healthier, fitter, happier, and more fulfilled existence. Through enjoyable workouts, therapies, treatments, tips, recipes, and most of all, the sense we are all together in this, as a new like-minded community, we will get there.
